A Chinese man has reportedly been jailed for 13 years for buying and eating endangered tigers and making wine made out of their blood.


The man, identified as a rich businessmen surnamed Xu, organised three trips to the southern province of Guangdong last year to buy the tigers, which he then transported to his home region of Guangxi, the Xinhua state news agency said.

The Beaumont Police Department is investigating a post on a local Facebook group.

It reads, “Baby for sale. Best Offer? Btw, I’m located in Beaumont must pick her up.”

Police believe it might be a hoax, but joke or not, they say selling a child is a felony offense.

The advertisement was posted on the Facebook group “For Sale Or Wanted In Setx,” where members can find several great deals – but buying a child isn’t one of them.

A man in Yuba City is accused of pinning a woman to the floor and performing an exorcism.

Francisco Bracamonte, 42, pleaded not guilty Monday to felony charges of false imprisonment, battery and carrying a dirk or dagger.

The alleged victim said Bracamonte, who she knew, began engaging in extremely bizarre behavior and was “speaking in tongue” while holding a Bible, according to court documents.

A 22-day-old baby starved to death in a car seat as her parents ate in a restaurant chain famous for its ‘endless buffet’.

Baby Betsey Kee Stephens was found “completely unresponsive and cold to the touch” after being strapped into a car in central Florida.

Apparently, her parents Ruby Stephens, 23, and Roy Stephens, 48, had been eating in a branch of the Golden Corral restaurant chain before the tragedy. They have now been charged with first-degree murder.
