Chelsea boss Mourinho admits he’ll be happy to see Wenger humiliated once again

CHELSEA manager Jose Mourinho piled yet more pressure on Arsene Wenger last night ahead of today’s Stamford Bridge showdown.
Just six months after Chelsea humiliated Arsenal 6-0, Mourinho admitted he is hoping to inflict more of the same pain on Arsenal’s French manager.

And he warned he will have no sympathy for Wenger – who has failed to win any of the last 11 meetings between the pair – if history repeats itself.

“Why should I?” Mourinho asked. “I just play matches to win. If you can win 5-0 you don’t win 4-0.”

Mourinho made it clear he would not be following the example of Sir Alex Ferguson, who sympathised with Wenger after Manchester United walloped Arsenal 8-2 three years ago.

And he went on to taunt the Frenchman with a revelation that luring Cesc Fabregas away from Arsenal in the summer was “the easiest signing I’ve ever made”.

But the Arsenal boss insisted that his poor record against the Chelsea coach does not concern him.

And he suggested that his rival was being economic with the truth by claiming that Diego Costa will carry a hamstring problem today.

He said: “Honestly, when you see him play it is not obvious. He has had a problem a long time but on Tuesday night against Sporting it was difficult to guess he had a problem.”
